DESCRIPTION:WET LAB OVERVIEW:\n\n9:00am to 11:00am: Lecture Series\n11:00am to 12:00pm: Lunch\n12:00pm to 3:00pm: Teeth Floating\n\nLecture Series\nPart 1: Presentation and discussion about starting as a solo practitioner\, covering options\, needs\, and potential pathways. \nPart 2: Basics of dentistry\, including anatomy\, aging\, necessary equipment\, exam techniques\, equilibration\, and diagnostic radiographs. \nWet Lab\n11 horses\, of various ages\, will participate in dental floats. Each horse requires 30-45 minutes for examination and floating\, supervised by doctors rotating among 4 stations. \nEach student will have an opportunity to perform floating on one half of a horse (mandible and maxilla). \nAdditionally\, a demonstration station for radiographs of the head will be available\, allowing each group to rotate through and practice. \nSponsors:\nAmerisource Bergen MWI Animal Health\, Boehringer-Ingelheim\nAnimal Health\, V.E.T.\, and Mobile Horse Doc \nView Web Lab Flyer
