FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: Where are the wet labs held?
A: Wet labs are generally hosted at local private practices. If an Industry Sponsor would like to work with V.E.T. on organizing a larger scale wet lab at a local venue (i.e. Heritage Place) this can be done.
Q: Who teaches the wet labs?
A: Wet labs are taught by veterinarians of the host practice as well as V.E.T. Board Members and other volunteers.
Q: How many students attend each wet lab?
A: Class size varies based on subject content and venue capacity.
Q: When are wet labs held?
A: Wet labs are typically held on a Saturday or Sunday. Length of wet lab varies based on subject content.
Q: Who supplies materials and equipment used during wet labs?
A: This can be answered many ways as it depends on the wet lab itself. V.E.T. will work with the hosting practice and Industry Sponsors to have supplies and equipment donated if possible. As this organization continues to grow our hope is to be able to furnish more and more of what is necessary for these wet labs.
