Wet Lab Overview
Lab Descriptions:
- Approach to lameness, palpation, joint flexions, signalment, and history. Understanding what is needed to shorten your differential lists.
- While working on cadaver limbs, practice perineural and intra-articular joint injections, as well as anatomy dissections.
- Physical exams with a focus on cardiac and thoracic disease, auscultation of lungs, and discussion of murmurs.
- Cardiothoracic imaging, basic ultrasound of the heart for field screening, and ultrasound of the thorax and abdomen.
