Equine Musculoskeletal Ultrasonography, Musculoskeletal Palpation, Principles of Bandaging

WET LAB OVERVIEW
Focus on U/S of distal limb & stifle. This will be coordinated with musculoskeletal palpation lab which will be a hands-on learning experience palpating stifles, tendons, & muscles of the horse. This will help broaden your examination skills by using your knowledge of anatomy to understand what “normal” feels like. Compendium of bandage materials & principles of how to wrap limbs as well as other body locations with a brief overview of emergency bandages for imobilization. Primary focus will be how to choose what bandage for general scenarios.
